Wiki leaks Cables Reveal China's Fear of the Web

We have known that China filters its internet to its people, but recently wikileaks revealed just how much China wants to filter and what they are willing to do to get that filter. Very interesting that China is forcing google and the untied states to filter things from their internet. As far as blurring the images of gov’t buildings on Google earth. China also threatened Google and the United States saying if there are terrorist attacks on these buildings it will be Google/ United States’ fault. We knew internet filtering happens but in my opinion China has gone a little bit overboard here. Do you think governments should have that much control over the internet filters in their countries?Do you think google and the United States should help these other countries filter out the past?
